Earagail Arts Festival

 

Indian Community performed the theme "Celtic Mela" under the Inishowen Carnival Group on July 09 (Friday). The parade began at 9 pm near THE GRILL on the Port Road, passed through the Main Street up to the Library and all the way back to THE GRILL. .


Indian Food Day

 

ICCL organised the Indian Food Day on May 23 (Sunday) in the aid of Irish Red Cross. Authentic Hyderabadi Chicken Briyani along with Fried Egg and Soft drinks were served. In all, 130 food packets were sold and over 400 Euros was raised.


Bag Packing for Alzheimers Society of Ireland

 

Around 30 volunteers participated in the Bag Packing at Tesco Letterkenny on May 08 (Saturday) in the aid of Alzheimers Society of Ireland and raised 1605 Euros.


Republic Day

 

60th Indian Republic Day was celebrated on January 26 (Tuesday) in the ICCL Hall. To mark the occasion, National Flag was hoisted at 9 am. Many patriotic citizens participated and took the national pledge to show their respect to our mother land..


Temple 2nd Anniversary Celebrations

 

To mark the second anniversary of the temple, Sri Narayana homam was performed in the temple on January 19 (Tuesday). This is the first time a homam was performed in the temple premises. Devotees also took part in the homam along with the chanting of Vishnu Sahasra Namavali. . 


Makara Sankranti

 

Makara Sankranti was celebrated in the temple on January 14 (Thursday). Surya Pooja was performed for Sun GOD. Special Aarti pooja was performed for Lord Ayyappa as it was the day of Mahara Jyoti. Shej Aarti for Lord Sai Baba was also performed.    


High Highness Sri Sri Sriranga Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji's Visit

 

Sri Swamiji visited Letterkenny between December 30, 2009 and January 06, 2010. Sri Swamiji gave multi media presentations on the very basic existence of mankind at our Community Centre hall. Sri Swamiji performed Samuhika Narayana Kumkumarchana at our temple and blessed the devotees. It was our honour to host Sri Swamiji. The events were very well received by our members, friends and wellwishers.
